Job Expectations

Build your career and Australia’s future.

Not many people can say they are working on building Australia’s future. With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.

A fantastic opportunity at nbn, Australia's largest infrastructure project, as the Go To Market (GTM) Execution Manager, New Developments, reporting to the Executive Manager New Developments, GTM. You will join the New Developments team and function as a critical pillar to lead, drive and execute a strategic plan for some of nbn's largest customers.

A bit about your role

The goal of the Customer, Products and Marketing (CPM) business unit is to act as a conduit to lead nbn to become the first-choice provider of broadband networks, services, and intelligent solutions in new property and construction markets and maintain essential relationships with stakeholders.

The GTM Execution Manager, New Developments, will be a crucial point of inquiry and a trusted advisor to achieve nbn's fundamental social mission and broader corporate objectives, especially the continuous expansion of the footprint of the nbn™ network and the achievement of nbn's long term revenue goals.

Your seamless delivery of end-to-end project management for nbn's success in the new development markets will add to nbn's market share. The role will help manage large developers' repeat business, growth into new vertical segments, and the activation of new services. You will be helping to drive incremental performance in revenue and customer experience. You will collaborate directly with the Executive Manager of New Developments, GTM, members of the GTM team, and the other product development leadership team to capitalise on the opportunities available across the New Developments market.

The role requires someone who can develop and execute strategies and plans pragmatically and operate with a high degree of autonomy with key initiatives to maximise nbn's market share and revenues in new property developments for assigned territories.

The role will allow nbn to successfully achieve the objectives responsible for working cross-functionally with business units and teams across the company to achieve these outcomes. Notably, the position is highly collaborative and requires an individual to act in a collegiate and conducive manner to lift and sustain high employee engagement.

A bit about you

The successful candidate will understand the drivers and realities of property and construction markets with an understanding of the technology needs of developers across telecommunications or engineering. You will be confident in acting with a high degree of autonomy and have an innate ability to get to the heart of clients' pain points and look for ways to execute and engage new constructions needs, wants, and values.

Ideally, you will have experience executing marketing strategies and/or project management for strategic programs to deliver nbn's New Developments GTM objectives. You will provide leadership and direction to fulfil the Product Development and Sales Strategy. You are motivated to continuously achieve nbn's GTM Strategy by delivering all GTM initiatives associated with new product launches, internal and external change, communications, and new engagement and sales needs.

You effortlessly collaborate with people at all levels and positions (from senior executives to subject matter experts) internally and externally. You will bring substantial experience to craft and execute winning narratives, with a critical understanding of change management principles needed to ensure clear and ongoing support.

Moreover, the successful candidate will bring advanced networking, influencing and negotiation skills and solid commercial acumen across business and political landscapes. You will be motivated to assist stakeholders in understanding how competitors are positioning and behaving to solve problems and using this insight to drive the right GTM positioning, in conjunction with working with relevant stakeholders.
